‘As long as you continue to do that, you put yourself into a great position to see and move forward in life and not backwards. It’s not about the knock-downs, it’s about the get-ups.

‘In 2020 put yourself in a position to get up. Put yourself in a position to grow. Put yourself in a position to be better. At the end of the day it’s all about becoming the best version of you – that should be the priority for us all.’

The six-part series recounts several of his scandals, including his homophobic tweets and his 2017 affair.

She says in episode three: ‘How I found out was a DM. I don’t know who it was. They sent me an edited video of Kevin and, you know, another woman.

‘I was pregnant at that time, I was about seven or eight months pregnant. I was having breakfast, I opened my phone and immediately I just lost it. I called him, I’m crying, I’m like pissed. Right then and there, I kept saying, “How the f— did you let that happen?”’

She added: ‘You publicly humiliated me. Your whole everything’s on Instagram, everything’s on social media. It was an ongoing fight all the time. Every single day. I kept questioning him, like, ‘If this is what you’re gonna do, I don’t want to be a part of that.

‘I’m happy that it kind of happened. I get sensitive every time I talk about it. He’s f***ed up, this was a bad one, this was major. Nine years and I think looking forward, it’ll be better.’

Hart admitted to cheating on his wife in December of 2017, one month after their son Kenzo was born.

He said in the episode: ‘That conversation, there is no easy way to have that conversation. The worst part was just knowing how you made somebody feel.

‘There’s a major effect it could have on the people that you are closest to, who you love the most. When I got to see that first-hand with Eniko when I got to see the effect my reckless behavior had … It was crushing, that tore me up. That really tore me up.’

Hart was allegedly extorted by former friend Jonathan Todd Jackson, who later pleaded not guilty before the charge was dropped this September.

The teaser for the six-part series offers an unprecedented look at the comic’s life, exploring the scandals in which he withdrew from hosting the Academy Awards amid flak for a series of homophobic tweets from 2009-2011 that resurfaced.

In looking at the Academy Awards scandal, Hart is seen in a clip of an interview in which he had a testy reaction to a question about his past tweets: ‘OK let’s just stop it right here, because before people judge, like ‘Kevin Hart’s a di**head, he’s an a**hole, there’s a lot that you don’t know.’

According to the streaming service, the documentary taps ‘into the trials and tribulations of what it means to be a father, a partner, a role model, and a business-man’ as ‘Hart reflects on the events that have shaped his life, making him into the person he is today.’
